I was reading that Orlean book, the one about L.A, 1986
& found it lacked a blueprint or a
cutaway—anything more
architectural
would've
aided
ole
me
a
,
hm
I'd
ideas
on books
+ book stacks
which did not jive at
all w/those 4 Pringle's cylinders,
+ the tale was predicated on just that kind of minutiae

one must
never be very
pragmatic as a critic
because social media is maybe more
destructive to free speech than flames are 2 microfiche
So many times I'd said no to review writing, in fear of
being all wrong & being attacked even if
I was honest & secure
in enjoyments
